During this time of COVID-19, I thought it interesting to search Trove for any information on the 1919 Pneumonic Influenza or the Spanish Flu that pertained to the Ballina District. All the articles below mention Ballina, however, as was the case often during these early years, newspaper articles also included many other places of interest. These articles certainly makes for interesting reading and highlight the similarities and differences between both pandemic responses.
